About Us

We are a dog boarding kennels with a difference, based in a rural location surrounded by woods and fields in Silkstone Common, Barnsley. We offer home boarding in our own home; no kennels, no cages. Your dog will live with us and our 3 Golden Retrievers, part of the family. We have a large, safe enclosed garden and have direct access to the Trans-Pennine Trail where we go for long country walks, come rain or shine. We only take one person's dog(s) at any one time so your dog will get lots of love, care and attention. We are fully licensed, insured, with extended CRB checks, and can also offer a dog walking service. And at the end of the day your dog can curl up in front of a real log fire in our living room, before going to bed in his / her own room. Come visit!

Your dog will be walked according to your instructions; with your prior permission we will walk him/her off the lead if you prefer. We can take care of your dog for overnight stays, or just for the day/morning/afternoon if that is what you need. There is a discount for 7 nights or more. Whatever your requirements we will do our best to accommodate you and your furry friend. We ask that you come for a 'Meet and Greet' session so you can meet us and our dogs and see what we have to offer.
