IÂ’m Diane Woolrich, the founder of Being True To You. As an experienced counsellor with a wealth of experience, I have also previously worked for many years as a volunteer for a mental health charity. I help people with a wide range of emotional difficulties, such as low self-esteem, depression and sexual identity. Through my counselling sessions, people have felt calmer, confident and in more control of their lives. I also have a specialist interest in Anxiety and Stress Management and Resilience Building.
I am also a Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist, which enables me to help more people and give my clients more opportunities to manage their emotional difficulties and very real, immobilising health conditions. This form of hypnotherapy can help people to improve their health by breaking self-destructive habits. Furthermore, being able to work with health-related problems therapeutically extends and complements my background working in health, as an Operating Department Practitioner.
My focus is always on you and the best outcome for you; I give you the opportunity to speak in a safe, confidential place about any issues you may be facing. I work with adults (18 years+), helping them with a variety of different issues, both short term and long term. I promise that no matter who you are, what you have been through, or what you have done, you will always be treated with respect, empathy, compassion and understanding.
