The Clinic is situated in the heart of Market Harborough, Leicestershire and easily accessible from neighbouring Rutland and Northamptonshire. The Clinic specialises in Irritable Bowel Syndrome(IBS) and constipation although clients come with a wide range of digestive issues including acid reflux, leaky gut, excess gas, bloating, abdominal discomfort and heartburn. We also see clients who are on a cleansing / detoxing or fasting programme or those wishing to kick start a healthy eating plan for weight loss or general good health. The appointment itself takes approximately 90 mins and includes a detailed look at your health history, current health issues, lifestyle, diet and your life / work balance. You will enjoy an abdominal massage with aromatherapy oil followed by the colonic itself, which lasts around 45 minutes. I use herbs if necessary during the therapy and then a probiotic will be given afterwards to encourage good gut bacteria. A personal plan will be drawn up at the end of the appointment for specific issues. I believe any therapy is enhanced when a client is relaxed so there is always plenty of time for you to talk, and for me to listen, there is never a feeling of being rushed here.

Establishment: Karen, the owner, trained in 2009 with the world renowned Milo Siewert and Roger Groos at the Natural College of Hydrotherapists. She is a member of the Association of Registered Colonic Hydrotherapists(ARCH), which is the only association backed by the Department of Health in this field. The Clinic opened its doors in Market Harborough in September 2011 with Karen gaining experience at another established clinic prior to this. She has 10 years experience with different fasting / detoxing / cleansing programmes through her own personal use, her studies and with her work as a colonic hydrotherapist. Karen is also a qualified, Tai Chi, Chi Kung and Chinese Wand instructor.
