About Us

We are a friendly cricket club based in Surrey, near to Warlingham and not far from Croydon. We play friendly, 40 over matches on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Since 2004 Churchleigh Cricket Club has been fortunate to play its home games in the beautiful gated community of Greatpark. It’s an idyllic setting with a fantastic clubhouse overlooking the pitch that includes a kitchen area, toilets, home and away changing rooms and hot showers. Away from home we also play at some fantastic grounds against cricket teams in Surrey and Kent around the M25 area. The club is run by members and honorary posts are elected each year at the AGM prior to the start of the new season. We raise funds in various ways through members subs and match fees, The 100 Club(please see page for details) and the annual inter-club Twenty20 match and barbecue which has proven to be incredibly popular and a lot of fun. Outside of cricket we are a sociable bunch and are always willing to hang around after a match for a beer at the club’s local pub “The Harrow” to discuss the days endeavours and any dubious dismissals! We also meet for the occasional club(curry) dinner both pre and post season and around Christmas time.
