Simon Northcott founded Scarlett Loves Cake in 2008 due to his love of baking delicious treats for his daughter(Scarlett) along with feeding his creative side, something which he had not done since graduating from Art & Design College some years ago. Simon’s style ranges from contemporary, cutting edge, hand painted masterpieces to more simple, elegant, clean line designs. Simon is always striving for perfection and as such, his professional development and thirst for knowledge is on-going. As well as constantly searching for the best recipes and finest ingredients, he is currently working towards becoming a qualified pastry chef. The cakes featured on this website are a small example of our work; a more extensive portfolio is available on request. We can produce any style or design of cake that you would like. We love creating unique one off cake designs and are very happy for clients to give us a simple brief and leave the rest to us. Prices: As all our cakes are totally individual and custom made, there are no set prices but as a rough guide a 3 tiered cake would start from around £500. We will also be more than happy to answer any cake related questions that you may have. Deposit: We ask for a 50% deposit to confirm the order, the remaining fee is payable 2 weeks prior to your big day. Time: It’s wise to give us as much notice as possible as our diary can get full pretty quickly; however it’s always worth calling as we will accommodate last minute jobs where possible. Delivery and set up: We will take care of all of that for you, it's part of the service.
