About Us

Turnditch and District Playgroup offers a bright and spacious surroundings, outdoor facilities. We are a charitable and community-based organisation, incorporated into the pre-school learning alliance, a member of the Derbyshire County CouncilÂ’s Early Years Partnership, we are also inspected by Ofsted with regards to our quality of service, care and education we provide for our children. We welcome children with special needs and requirements. We are validated providers of Early Years Education and can provide funded places for 2*, 3 and 4 year olds. (2 year old funding, restrictions apply).

Our Aim .......... Is to provide a secure, loving, caring environment in which all children have the opportunities to reach their full potential emotionally. Socially and educationally through 'hands on' experiences and having FUN.

Establishment: We are a charitable and community-based organisation, incorporated into the pre-school learning alliance and a member of the Derbyshire County CouncilÂ’s Early Years Partnership. Turnditch & District Playgroup was established in 1970 and is located in Crompton Ingle field Village Hall. The setting is highly respected within the village and surrounding areas and has good links with Turnditch Primary School.
